5 Days Bleeding, 57 Days Clean, 3 Days Bleeding, 14 Days Clean, 1 Day Bleeding

Reading Time: < 1 minute
  1. Haidh Cycle: 5 days
  2. Tuhr Cycle: 55 days
  3. Case: 5 days bleeding, 57 days clean, 3 days bleeding, 14 days clean, 1 day bleeding.
  4. The 5 days haidh was in conformity to her cycle.
  5. She remained an extra 2 days clean.
  6. She then bled for 3 days which is the minimum number of days of haidh.
  7. So, during her expected 5 days of haidh the first 2 days she remained clean whilst the following 3 days she bled.
  8. The clean days thereafter were less than the minimum stipulated days of tuhr which is 15 days.
  9. She then bled for a day.
  10. In effect, she ‘bled’ for 18 days.
  11. She had a 3-day discharge during her expected days of haidh.
  12. 3 days being the minimum period of haidh confirms that this bleeding is her haidh as it is in her expected haidh time.
  13. She, therefore, returns to her cycle in haidh, not in tuhr as she had an extra 2 days of tuhr.
  14. Her haidh, therefore, has been reduced to 3 days, coming 2 days later as she had a clean period of 57 days which is 2 days more than her previous tuhr cycles.
  15. In conclusion, her number of haidh days has changed, but not its time as it came in the time of her previous cycles.
  16. So, although it was 2 days less, but it is confined to her normal time.
  17. The 1-day bleeding at the end is istihaadhah.
