  1. When a person passes away then burn luban (frankincense) or some other fragrance around him/her.
  2. A woman who is in haidh or nifaas and a person who requires a ghusl should not come in the presence of the deceased.
  3. After passing away as long as ghusl was not given to the mayyit, it is not proper to read the Qur’aan Majeed by the mayyit.
