Loyalty and Remembrance

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Hazrat Khadijah (Radhiyallahu anha) comforted Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) for 24 years and 6 months in her auspicious service and marriage to him. This period was spent in boundless goodness. She valued Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) with all her heart, and Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) also loved her whole-heartedly.

As long as she was alive, Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) never took a second wife. After her death, although he married many times, he always spoke of her with praise. Seldom did he not mention her when he was at home.

Hazrat Aishah (Radhiyallahu anha) said, “Although I had never seen Khadijah (Radhiyallahu anha), and she passed away before I arrived [at the home of Nabi Sallallahu alaihi wasallam], but I was jealous and envious of her unlike any other wife of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam). Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) would remember her a lot, and if any meat, etc. was being distributed then he would send some for her relatives and friends.”

SubhaanAllah! This is called loyalty and remembrance.
