- Her grandfather is Rabee’ah Bin Habeeb Bin Abdu Shams.
- She is the mother of Sayyidina Uthmaan Bin Affaan (Radhiyallahu anhu).
- Her mother is Ummu Hakeem Al-Baidha Bintu Abdil Muttalib.
- Ummu Hakeem is one of the paternal aunts of Nabi (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam).
- Arwa Bintu Kuraiz is thus a cousin of Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam).
- Arwa passed away during the Khilaafat of her son, Sayyidina Uthmaan (Radhiyallahu anhuma).
- Ibn Abbaas (Radhiyallahu anhuma) reports that the mothers of Sayyidina Uthmaan, Sayyidina Talha, Sayyidina Abu Bakr As-Siddeeq, Sayyidina Az-Zubair and Sayyidina Sa’d all accepted Islam during the lifetime of Nabi (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam).
