LONGING TO BE BACK HOME

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Whoever is separated from his home

He longs for the time he will be back home

The meaning of this poem is clear. Here the reason for the tale and complaint of the Rooh is mentioned.

It is a rule that when a person is separated from his home, he seeks to go back to his home. “I too, in view of being separated from the World of the Souls (Aalam-e-Arwaah), because of which I have lost those attributes of mine [seeing Allah Ta’ala, being in the Divine Presence and speaking with Him], long for that blissful state and time to return.”

(Kaleed-e-Mathnawi)
