Reading Time: < 1 minute- The excretions: blood, urine and faeces nullify wudhu when becoming visible, that is when these align with the opening of their outlets.
- Thus, when urine or blood align with the opening of the urethra, the wudhu breaks.
- Similarly, if faeces or blood align with the opening of the rectum, the wudhu breaks.
- In like manner, when blood aligns with the inner genital tract, wudhu breaks and haidh or nifaas can also commence.
- The additional condition for haidh and nifaas commencing is that the blood is saheeh.
- In haidh this means that the bleeding lasts for at least 3 days and it affects a female of 9 years of age or older.
- In nifaas the condition is that the bleeding is when most of the baby has emerged.
