The Need for Seeking the Protection of Allah

A human being is powerless in obtaining what is good for him in this world and the Hereafter.

Proof for this is that there are two things which emanate from a human: Ilm and Amal (knowledge and action).

In both realms he is, as a matter of fact, absolutely helpless.

Insofar as Ilm is concerned, how needy is he not for seeking the protection of Allah when acquiring Ilm!?

Proof for this is that we see many brilliant scholars languishing in a misconception for their entire lives. They are clueless to the answer to their problem. In fact, they are adamant over their stance and consider it to be certain knowledge and clear evidence.

After the termination of their lives someone comes along and becomes aware of the reason for their error, and he makes known to people the reason for the corruption of their notion.

When this is possible for some people, the same is possible for all. If this was not the case, there would be no difference in religion and doctrine among scholars.

This being the state of affairs, if it was not the Help, Grace and Direction of Allah, then who would have safely sailed across the waves of deviation and the storm of darkness with his ship of intellectual thoughts?
