Fardh Acts of Wudhu
Reading Time: < 1 minute
- The procedure of making wudhu has been explained.
- Then some actions of wudhu are such that if they are left out, or there is some shortcoming in them, the wudhu is not done.
- One will remain in the state of being without wudhu if those actions are left out or are incomplete.
- The actions which are indispensable in wudhu are called Fardh.
- These Fardh acts of wudhu are four, and they are:
- Washing the whole face once.
- Washing both hands including the elbows once each.
- Making masah of a quarter of the head once.
- Washing both the feet including the ankles once each.
- Only these four acts are Fardh.
- If any of these four is left out, or even a hair’s breadth is left dry of that part, then the wudhu is not done.
