Methods of Administering Milk to the Infant and Milk-Ties

Reading Time: < 1 minute
  1. Once the milk has gone down the throat of the infant all the relations we have mentioned [in the article: Milk Kinship] become haraam.
  2. It does not matter whether the milk was a little or a lot.
  3. If the infant was not breastfed, instead the mother’s or any other female’s milk was put in a bottle and administered into the throat of the infant, then too all the relations mentioned become haraam.
  4. Similarly, if the milk was dropped into the infant’s nose, milk-ties are established.
  5. If the milk was dropped into the ears of the infant, then no milk ties are established.
