Sisters and Aunts in Custody of a Child

- In the case of the mother, maternal and paternal grandmothers not being in a position to take care and custody of the child then the right of custody goes to the sisters of the child.
- If the child has a sister and a stepsister, the blood sister enjoys prior right to custody.
- If the child has a sister with whom he shares the same mother, this sister enjoys prior right to custody of the child over the sister who shares only the same father with the child.
- If the child has no sisters, or they are not qualified to take care of the child, then the maternal aunt has the right.
- After the maternal aunt is the turn of the paternal aunt.
