Fardh Acts of Wudhu

Reading Time: < 1 minute
  1. The procedure of making wudhu has been explained.
  2. Then some actions of wudhu are such that if they are left out, or there is some shortcoming in them, the wudhu is not done.
  3. One will remain in the state of being without wudhu if those actions are left out or are incomplete.
  4. The actions which are indispensable in wudhu are called Fardh.
  5. These Fardh acts of wudhu are four, and they are:
  • Washing the whole face once.
  • Washing both hands including the elbows once each.
  • Making masah of a quarter of the head once.
  • Washing both the feet including the ankles once each.
  1. Only these four acts are Fardh.
  2. If any of these four is left out, or even a hair’s breadth is left dry of that part, then the wudhu is not done.
