Niece’s Son

Mas-alah: The son of a woman’s niece [that is, the son of your brother’s or sister’s daughter] is a mahram. Nikaah with him is haraam. Therefore, he is a mahram.
A woman can go for Haj with her niece’s son. This much caution should be observed that he is not a faasiq or faajir [flagrant sinner or depraved]. There is no trust in a faasiq and faajir. The Honourable Fuqaha disallow travelling with such a person. (Fataawa Raheemiyyah)
