Hadhrat Shah Abdul Quddoos (Rahmatullahi alayh) passed his days in great poverty. When his wife became restless because of hunger, he would placate her by saying:
“Fear not. In Jannat the most delicious and sumptuous dishes are being prepared for us.”
By the fadhl of Allah, his wife’s taqwa was of such a high calibre that his statement would reassure and satisfy her.
