Du’aa

Du’aa means: To seek something with humbleness from the Sublime Being.

Imaam Nawawi (Rahmatullahi alaih) says that Ulama of all ages and all places are unanimous that to make Du’aa is meritorious.

Their proof, besides the apparent and clear purport of Qur’aanic Aayaat and Ahadeeth, is that it is also the deed of the Ambiya Kiraam (Alaihimus Salaam), as all the Ambiya would make Du’aa.
