Mustahab Time of Performing Asr Salaat

- It is better to delay the Asr Salaat so that Nawaafil can be performed before it.
- After the Fardh of Asr it is not permissible to perform any Nafl Salaat, whether it is summer or winter.
- However, the delay in Asr should not be so much that the sun becomes pale and the sun loses its shine. [In South Africa this happens about 15 minutes before sunset.]
