Rights of Parents After Their Passing

After parents pass away their rights are as follows:

  1. To continually make Du’a of Maghfirat and Rahmat for them.
  2. To continually convey the thawaab of Nawaafil (Nafl acts of Ibaadat) and monetary Sadaqaat to them.
  3. To provide financial and physical assistance to their friends and acquaintances and treat them with beautiful character.
  4. To fulfil any debt they owed.
  5. To visit their graves now and again.
