Regenerating Celestial Light and Rejuvenation
The Spiritual Noor and Suroor (inner light and joy) which were extinguished on account of sins and indolence reappear by making wudhu.
On the Day of Qiyaamat, this Spiritual Light will shine conspicuously from the parts of the body which are washed in wudhu. In this regard, Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) says:
“My Ummah will come on the Day of Resurrection with their faces, hands and feet shining and white by virtue of wudhu. So, whoever among you can extend his shine, let him do so.” (Musnad Ahmad)
In another Hadeeth it comes:
“A Mu-min will be adorned with jewellery in Jannat as far as the water of wudhu reaches.” (Muslim)
