A Vow of Fasting a Particular Month

  1. A vow was made, “I am going to fast the month of Muharram”. One will have to fast the entire month of Muharram in succession.
  2. If for some reason some fasts in between were missed, then one will have to fast that amount afterwards.
  3. All the fasts do not have to be repeated.
  4. One also has the option of fasting in some other month instead of in Muharram.
  5. However, the fasts will still have to be kept in succession, that is, the entire month without missing any in between.
