Hazrat Aishah Siddeqah (Radhiyallahu Anha)

  • She is the very dear wife of our Nabi (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam).
  • She was unmarried prior to Nabi (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) marrying her.
  • She was so learned that eminent Sahaabah of Nabi (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) would ask her Masaail.
  • Once, a Sahaabi asked Nabi (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam): “Who do you love the most?” Nabi (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) replied: “Aishah.”
  • The Sahaabi then asked: “And from men?” Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihi wasallam) replied: “Her father.” That is, Hazrat Abu Bakr (Radhiyallahu anhu).
  • Many other virtues of her are reported.

Lessons

  1. Look! She was a female from whom great Ulama of the Deen [Senior Sahaabah] would ask Masaail of the Deen.
  2. And now, women have no interest in asking about the Deen or reading Deeni kitaabs.
  3. Ladies! Study knowledge of the Deen with concerted effort and interest.
