Rights of Your Milk-Mother

Your milk-mother is like your own mother by virtue of breastfeeding you. Her rights have also been recorded. They are:

1. To observe respect and honour for her.
2. If she is in financial need and you have the means to assist, then you should not withhold assistance.
3. If you have the means then provide a maid to help her.
4. In view of the milk-mother being at the service of her husband, therefore, one should understand service and kindness to her husband to be likewise necessary.
