What is Necessary to Say Verbally When Making Qurbaani

1. When making Qurbaani it is only necessary to say Bismillaah Allaahu Akbar verbally.
2. Making the intention of Qurbaani verbally is not necessary.
3. Similarly, to recite the Du’aa at the time of Qurbaani verbally is not necessary.
4. If you did not say anything verbally, you merely had in your heart making Qurbaani and you slaughtered saying Bismillahi Allahu Akbar, your Qurbaani is valid.
5. However, if you do remember, then it is best to recite the Du’aa of Qurbaani as well. Refer to the Du’aa before slaughtering here.
