Qualifications for the Nikaah Witnesses

1. If there are two male witnesses for the Nikaah, however, they are not Muslim, the Nikaah is not valid.
2. Similarly, if the witnesses are Muslim, but both or one of the two is not baaligh (of majority age in the Shariah), then too the Nikaah is not valid.
3. Likewise, if the Nikaah was in the presence of one male and two female Muslims, however, the two females or one of them is not yet baaligh, the Nikaah is not valid.
